The facility includes office and consultation rooms, a technical team workspace, a showcase area, a reception area, and a waiting area designed to support industrial estate transformation activities.

UNIDO Representative for Indonesia, the Philippines, and Timor-Leste Marco Kamiya said the establishment of the EIP Center reflects Indonesia's strong commitment to integrating industrial growth with environmental sustainability.

"The EIP Center is not merely a physical facility, but a national platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation, and capacity building in the development of Eco-Industrial Parks," he said.

Swiss Ambassador to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and ASEAN Olivier Zehnder said Indonesia has become one of the leading countries in implementing the Green Industrial Park concept through the Swiss-supported GEIPP program.

"Indonesia's experience has provided valuable lessons for the global community on how sustainable industrial transformation can progress alongside economic growth," he said.

UNIDO also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of Green Industrial Parks in Indonesia through improved resource efficiency, the implementation of the circular economy, climate action, and stronger industrial competitiveness.
